#Treatment Stages

Q What should I prepare before coming to the Korean medicine clinic for the first time?

A Bringing your recent colonoscopy report, a list of current medications, and blood test results (CRP, calprotectin, etc.) makes the consultation much faster and more accurate. A symptom diary (when worsening occurs) is also helpful.

Detailed Answer

For IBD, objective test values are important in deciding the treatment direction. If you bring your colonoscopy results from within the past 6 months and blood test results such as CRP, ESR, hemoglobin, and albumin, we can quickly grasp your current inflammatory state. Please be sure to tell us all medications you are taking (5-ASA, steroids, immunosuppressants, biologic agents, etc.) and their doses.

Korean Medicine Clinic Perspective

Based on these materials, we determine whether your current state is remission or active phase and set the appropriate Korean medicine prescription direction. Even without materials, the first consultation is possible, so come without worry.
