If you are taking oral contraceptives or hormonal medication to suppress an endometrioma or regulate your cycle, do not stop them on your own. Herbal medicine and conventional medication can generally be taken 1 to 2 hours apart, and if you tell us the exact type and dosage of the medication you're taking during your visit, we will adjust the herbal formula and timing accordingly. Once the cyst size stabilizes and symptoms ease, we can work together with your gynecologist to plan a gradual reduction of the hormonal medication.
