At Dongjedang, we use ultra-fine needles of 0.16mm or less and proceed with a quick-insert, quick-withdraw (速刺速拔) method that removes the needle immediately after insertion. We explain the procedure to the child beforehand and have the guardian stay alongside to provide psychological reassurance.
