Q How often does my child need to visit the clinic for pediatric immunity and respiratory treatment?
A Typically 1–2 visits per month for the first 2 months, then 2 preventive visits per year once stable.
Detailed Answer
During the first 2 months, visits every 2–4 weeks are needed to assess the response to treatment. From month 3 onward, once the condition is stable, we shift to seasonal preventive visits (twice a year). If a significant cold occurs in the interim, an extra visit is made to adjust the prescription.
Korean Medicine Clinic Perspective
At Dongjedang, we maximize the interval between visits once the child enters a stable phase, to reduce the long-term burden on families. When sufficient medication remains, prescription refills can also be arranged via phone consultation.
