#Treatment Stages

Q What should I prepare before my first appointment to make it more helpful?

A If you briefly note the foods you ate over the past two weeks and the symptoms that followed (timing, type, intensity), your consultation will be faster and more accurate. It also helps to bring any medications or supplements you are currently taking and any test results you have (hydrogen breath test, blood test, etc.).

Detailed Answer

For food intolerance, identifying the trigger foods is the first step of treatment. Consultation is possible even without a food diary, but bringing even two weeks of notes lets us narrow down the range of trigger foods much faster at the first visit. Letting us know the results of any elimination diets you have tried and whether you take probiotics also helps avoid duplication.

Korean Medicine Clinic Perspective

Beyond simply what you ate, noting the level of stress and hours of sleep that day lets us read the patterns of change in your constitution and condition more accurately. This information increases the precision of the prescription.
